Chocolate orange is a flavour staple in many households during Christmas. If you’re a fan of this festive duo then you will love this Chocolate Orange Porridge Bowl. It’s sweet, creamy plus it contains our Flaxseed with Vitamin D, the much needed sunshine Vitamin during the winter months.
Ingredients (serves 1):
- 50g jumbo oats
- 200ml unsweetened almond milk
- 2-3 tsp maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
- 1 tsp raw cacao powder
- 1 tsp Linwoods Flaxseed Bio Cultures & Vitamin D
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp grated orange zest
Toppings:
- Sliced oranges
- Cacao nibs
- Pomegranate seeds
- 1 tsp Linwoods Flaxseed Bio Cultures & Vitamin D
Method:
- Cook the oats, almond milk, flaxseeds, ground cinnamon, cacao powder, maple syrup and orange zest for 3-4 minutes on the hob.
- Place into a bowl and top with sliced orange, cacao nibs, pomegranate seeds and more flaxseed.
