What is vegan pesto made of?

Traditional pesto recipes can include parmesan cheese which is a no go for those following a vegan diet. We would recommend using pine-nuts or walnuts in addition to extra lemon juice to make this a tasty vegan alternative to traditional pesto.

Do vegans eat pesto?

Traditional pesto is not vegan, however by exchanging the dairy within the recipe for vegan alternatives, this is a delicious option for breakfast for both those following a vegan diet and anyone else who appreciates a healthy, tasty start to the day.
