Apple & Cinnamon Cookies December 3, 2015 0 Share No Comments on Apple & Cinnamon Cookies Apple & Cinnamon Festive Cookies Serving Size 8 Notes Recipe by The Wellness Coach Ingredients 2/3 cup gluten free organic oats 1/3 cup of Linwoods Flax, Chia, Apple & Cinnamon 1/3 cup ground hazelnuts 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 grated red apple 5 tablespoons of agave syrup 1/2 tablespoon of tahini 1 tablespoon of melted coconut oil Instructions Pre heat your own to 180°C Grease a baking tray with coconut oil. Add the oats, Linwoods Flax, Chia, Apple & Cinnamon meal, ground hazelnuts and cinnamon to a large glass mixing bowl. Begin grating your red apple, and add to the dry mix along with the agave syrup, vanilla and tahini. Melt the coconut oil on a hot pan, once it becomes a liquid, add to your glass mixing bowl containing the other ingredients and begin to mix. If the dough is too wet, add more oats. Spoon the dough out with a cold dessert spoon and shape into tight balls with your hands, patting into a cookie shape and laying on your baking tray. Bake for 20-30 mins depending on your oven. Remove from the oven and leave to cool on a wire tray, allowing the coconut oil to set, or enjoy warm and chewy with a cup of herbal tea or coconut milk hot chocolate.
