Skincare and your diet – help your skin by watching what you eat

The skin is one of the most complex organs of the body, containing hair follicles, oil glands, sweat glands, nerves and blood vessels. Simply put, after the heart and brain, it’s fair to say that the skin is the most important organ in your body and there’s a lot you can do a lot to help your skin by watching what you eat.

Your skin works hard to keep you healthy, so in return you should show care to your skin, giving it the best treatment and protection you can. Washing your skin on a regular basis helps to prevent smells and bacteria, reducing the risk of infection. However, too much washing or over use of soaps can wash away the natural oils needed to keep the skin healthy and hydrated. Avoid using low quality skin products by first meeting a dermatologist to find out your skin type and decide which moisturisers and lotions are best suited to your skin.

  • Green Tea
