Ingredients
For the brownies
- 200g rolled oats
- 2 dessertspoons Linwoods Organic Hemp Protein+ with Flaxseed, Chia Seed, Cocoa & Beetroot Powder
- 100g dates, soaked in hot water for 10 minutes
- 100 walnuts or almonds
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 4 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons cocoa or cacao powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
To decorate
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 5 tablespoons cacao or cocoa powder
- Dried blueberries
- Linwoods Whole Sun-Dried Goji Berries
- Pumpkin seeds
- Flaked almonds
Instructions
- First make the brownie base: Simply place all of the ingredients into a food processor and whizz up for at least 30 seconds until a soft dough-like texture forms.
- Press into a lined tupperware box or small tin and cover the base evenly using your fingers.
- Chill for 30 minutes.
- Now melt the coconut oil and maple syrup then whisk in the cacao/cocoa powder until smooth and glossy.
- Pour this over the brownie base and spread evenly, then scatter over the dried fruit and nuts/seeds.
- Chill for at least 2 hours to set. When ready to serve, remove from the fridge, place on a chopping board and cut into bars/bites. Enjoy!
