Linwoods Health Foods welcomes guest speakers Jane McClenaghan, Dr Fionnuala Vernon and Honour Nethery to discuss Supporting your Immune System this Winter for their webinar on Thursday 24th November from 1-2pm. Hosted online, this free webinar is open to all and attendees can expect helpful advice on nutrition, a live cook-along and a holistic approach to looking after your immune system.
Jane McClenaghan is Northern Ireland’s most recognised nutritionist with over 20 years’ experience. Jane’s founded Vital Nutrition which specialises in delivering informative and engaging group sessions, an online membership club and one-to-one consultations. These sessions cover a range of health and wellbeing topics from mental health to stress, female and male health, healthy eating on a budget, heart health, sleep, family wellbeing and much more.
Jane is also the author of two books on nutrition, she writes a weekly column in the Irish News, has a monthly slot on radio U105 and is a regular contributor to the BBC, The Belfast Telegraph and many other media outlets. Jane’s knowledge in the subject area of health and wellbeing is unrivalled as indicated by her qualifications, reputation and experience.
Honour Nethery, NPD Technologist, is one of our in house experts at Linwoods Health Foods. Honour has always had a keen interest in all things food and cooking healthy meals to match her active lifestyle. As a result of this Honour went on to gain a First Class Honours with Distinction in Food and Nutrition. Honour joined the New Product Development team at Linwoods during the pandemic and hit the ground running immediately. After extensive research our fantastic NPD team, with Honour playing a lead role, created the new Functional Range for Linwoods which includes our latest innovation, Immune Support.
Dr Fionnuala Vernon has been a doctor for 16 years, working across a number of specialities in local hospitals before going into general practice 11 years ago. She studied for her medical degree at Queen’s University and has continued her professional development over the years. Dr Fionnuala is a member of the British Menopause Society, undergraduate Teacher at Queens University, postgraduate Advanced Nurse Practitioner trainer and aesthetics professional. Dr Fionnuala is clinical director of a new private medical clinic in Armagh which she runs as part of a nine-strong team of GP experts and technical staff. The Clinic focuses on Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Sports Medicine & Joint Injections, Medical Aesthetics as well as an Asthma Clinic.
