As the central tenet of Linwoods business and marketing plans, the website design reflects Linwoods dedication to quality and customer service.
The website stood out amongst the competition because it is completely responsive across a range of devices and features individual e-stores for UK, Europe and US markets. Particular attention has been paid to the ongoing creation of new content to encourage users to engage, share experiences and submit recipes.
Leading the project, Linwood’s Digital Marketing Executive Emma Gribben commented on the win: “We are absolutely delighted to pick up the award, especially as our website is just over two months old! To be recognised in the same category as successful e-retailers such as Littlewoods, Lifestyle Sports and Butlers Chocolates is a real honour and to win was just the icing on the cake.
“We have invested a lot of time and effort in our new website and we wanted to build a site that delivered a great experience whether you accessed it from a mobile phone, tablet or laptop. We created a new ‘Health Benefits’ section which helps customers to choose which product is most suitable for them. We also launched our new ‘Life, Living and Linwoods’ blog which covers product reviews and interesting health news, so that our customers can really integrate Linwoods into their lifestyle and feel the health benefits.
The Linwoods website was built by leading web agency Eyekiller who have built award winning websites for Sliderobes and Cricket Ireland. Eyekiller MD Jamie Robinson commented: “As Ireland's premier awards for the online industry, the competition was understandably of a high calibre so we are absolutely delighted to have brought home another Spider from Dublin for the Linwoods website.”
